Antelope Hills is the largest neighborhood in the community by a wide margin, spreading across the eastern flank between the central blocks and the Placer County line. Its size buys variety: the housing runs from the earlier planned-community tracts on the west end to somewhat newer stucco-fronted phases as you move east, so this is not a single-vintage subdivision. The eastern position is the practical draw. It puts Highway 65 and the Roseville job centers within shorter reach than the rest of Antelope gets, retail along Antelope Road sits just to the south, and the schools split between Center Joint Unified and, toward the eastern edge, the Dry Creek district that feeds Roseville campuses. The catch is that a neighborhood this spread out is a driving neighborhood. Some interior streets sit a real distance from the nearest park, upkeep varies block to block across the different building eras, and there is little here that qualifies as walkable. What you get in return is choice: within one name, Antelope Hills covers a wider span of house styles, ages, and price points than any of its neighbors.
