Neighborhood Reviews & Questions

Neighborhood Review

Tamarindo is one of the cluster of small west-side subdivisions in Vineyard, bordered by Caselman Ranch, South Woods, Vintage Park, and the larger Vineyard Creek and Churchill Downs areas. It is single-family tract housing on a planned street layout, a residential pocket rather than a place with its own commercial center. Shopping and services come off the Bradshaw and Elk Grove-Florin corridors nearby, and this is unincorporated county with the same car-first, open-valley-heat realities as the rest of the west side. Tamarindo is a modest, orderly place to own near the western edge of the CDP, leaning on its bigger neighbors for parks and everyday amenities.
