Drayton Heights is one of the smallest pockets in Arden-Arcade, a sliver of streets hemmed by New Broadmoor Estates, Del Paso Manor, and the edge of prestige Arden Oaks. Its size makes it more a cluster of blocks than a full neighborhood, built out with midcentury single-family homes. That brush with the Arden Oaks estate ground lends it a leafier, better-kept backdrop than its interior position suggests, though it has no park or retail of its own and leans entirely on the surrounding corridors. It is an easily overlooked address in a central, green part of the community.
