It is one of the more self-sufficient South Davis pockets for daily errands. The housing is a mix of single-family and attached homes, set on the flat, greenbelt-laced streets that connect through to South Davis parks and the Putah Creek paths. Commutes lean on the close I-80 on-ramps. The honest note is that the town-center setting means some traffic and commercial bustle along the Cowell corridor. The upside is that you can leave the car home for groceries, which is not true everywhere in South Davis.
